Messages from Big Island, Hawaii, in Japanese and English
Onigirazu, not Onigiri, which is a new style and new way of making (easy!) , seems to be popular.
There are so many YouTube videos of Onigirazu! Below is one of them. https://youtu.be/EdICNrqFUxc Just watching them makes me so hungry. I grew up with eating rice and rice balls every day in Japan. I remember my Mom made very tasty Onigiri with cooked beef, eggs, etc. for our lunch boxes. Whenever I remember the tasty lunch, I am so thankful to my parents to feed me and keep me healthy and energetic. The other day, I tried to cook Onigirazu at home by myself. However, I played around and tried to put whatever I wanted. I put too much rice and other ingredients. When I tried to eat and took it, they collapsed. I failed. At least, I started. I will make it better next time! I have been cooking “special omelets” for my husband’s lunch since he stopped eating carbohydrate. This omelet has been getting better to be customized for his taste, I think. He has been getting healthier, slimmer, and stronger. He himself has been working on transforming very well, but I believe my lunch has been also contributing to it :) Comments are closed.
