Messages from Big Island, Hawaii, in Japanese and English
When I was in my 20’s, I had a friend from India, who married with a Japanese man.
She started to live with her mother in law, who was a Japanese. It must have been a big challenge to both of them who were from different culture and were living together under the one roof. The Indian lady was amazingly smart and I remember that she was talking fluent Japanese after she lived there about 1 year. She said she learnt colloquial Japanese from the TV commercials. The mother in law said she was advised by the head of the church we were going. “Be forever young”. I think the teacher advised her to keep a young mind and keep challenging. I myself like learning different languages and enjoy encountering new culture. I think that will keep our minds opened and young. Below are some parts from the book, “Ageless Success Method” of Happy Science. https://www.happyscience-usa.org/ “Human beings are endowed a mind power to rejuvenate ourselves. As long as a person thinks “I still have things to do in my life and have a passion to do them”, the person can be in the same condition with youngsters.” Comments are closed.
