About after 43 minutes passed in this video, there is a very interesting and stimulating part.
https://youtu.be/_vrrfRnqqus When he was asked whether he would work (on political career?) for another 20 years or so, he said including, ”Everybody in real estate is old." "Real estate people don't retire." "My father used to have an expression: To Retire is to Expire, which is a tough expression. but I have seen it." One of his friends, who used to be a powerful banker, had to retire at 65 years old. He was a vibrant and very powerful guy. After retirement, he got old in a period of one year. Many of his friends, the New York Developers, never call him, or even do not return his call anymore, he said to Trump. I was reading a book, "Healing Power" by HS, and I remembered the part of this video as above. In the book, there is a chapter of Q&A session about diseases. Master Okawa was answering something like this. " "For people who think their work and study will finish when they retire at the same time, the finish will come quickly. However, if you think, "as we get older, we become smarter", you will be fine. In the world, among those who have reached the proficient level (in their professions or studies), we find many being very clear with lucidity. That might be because they have a goal in their life and a goal to study for. " This is the video at "The Economic Club of Washington, D.C." in 2014.
https://youtu.be/_vrrfRnqqus It is very interesting to watch. It is very stimulating intellectually and fun to listen to. These days, I get bored by listening to the same old way of speech by some "politicians." Many people would feel the same after we watched all kinds of bull shits in our politics and elections. I think many of us can tell whether the person is really talking from his/her own heart and experiences, or just talking "bra bra bra" from the prepared or written scripts. Even those words are full of intellects or rhetoric, if they only reading the script written by some speech writers or others, it may be hard to touch people's hearts. I think many people do not understand how intelligent, smart, and amazing this man is. When this interview was taken, he should have been 68 years old. This February, I saw him on the stage at CPAC. He was in a good shape, and passionately kept talking for a long time on the stage. Thanks to that, our meeting scheduled after that was blown off and had to reschedule. However, it was so nice to see him in a good energy and listen to him in person!! He is 74 years old and full of energy, intellects, ideas, knowledge, and lots of humor. The book, "The Laws of Secret" by Master Okawa really inspires me with so many teachings. The part below is really powerful. ".........'Just don't judge by only physical age!' If you keep receiving the Divine Light from the Heavenly world as "gasoline", an eternal youth will be yours, and you can keep being active (working). When you lose a dream or ideal, people will become old. If you do not lose your ideal or dream, you will be able to keep living in youth." One of the stories introduced In the documentary movie released last August by HS was from the village in the suburb of Uganda, Africa.
(happyscience-usa.org) One child in the village died. However, the father of the child did not give up and kept praying by reading "Dharma" in English (basic scripture of HS) for 45 minutes. Then, the child, who was supposed to be "dead medically", came back to life!!! Everyone in the village witnessed that the child was dead for 45 minutes and was resurrected by the prayer of the father. His faith must have been so pure and straight, which made the miracle happen. The father believed, "miracle exists", and kept praying. Then, the heart of the child started to beat again. Now the child is going to school. This is only a part of so many other stories. I have been so blessed to have grown up in a religious and spiritual environment.
The church my Mom was taking me to every morning was Konko Religion Church in Osaka. The church was very spiritual. I have heard various miraculous stories from my childhood. One of the stories that I never be able to forget was about one lady, who passed away and came back to life! One day she passed away. Then, so many people around her were so sad but could not give her up. They were helped by her greatly and did not want to let her go without their giving back to her. They prayed hard to God. Then, she was brought back to life!! People were so happy and tried to give back to her. She later passed away after receiving so much love and cares from people. Now, I keep hearing so many more stories, which are called "miracle" in our society. My current church, Happy Science, has been experiencing so many miracles all over the world. (To be continued) Thanks to the encouragement by the Director of KCS, Susie, I decided to participate in KCS Soirée by singing "America the Beautiful".
This is the video I used as BGM. https://youtu.be/MAU2TgfZAcc Since I could not put the sound of the video on Zoom, it turned to be my a cappella to the audience. I blasted. I blasted at a higher note at the ending. This is a very beautiful music. Whenever I sing this song, various sceneries come back to my mind. I have flown to the mainland so many times last 7 or 8 years. I have been always enjoying flying above the Rocky Mountains, shining oceans, and vast plains. (except big turbulences) I remember the awesome color of the mountain I saw from the airplane in the evening. I remember the alabaster cities in a refreshing morning air. My feeling hits a peak when I sang the phrases, "Confirm thy soul in self-control, Thy Liberty in Law!" I was shaking while singing. Even with Zoom, singing alone is a totally different ball game. I was nervous. However, I sang by putting my emotions into words and tried to express my love and respect to this country. People clapped their hands in the screen and sent very warm and encouraging messages to me. The section leader of Alto, Anne, who has been always supportive to my singing activities, sent me a very delightful messages including, "Pat yourself on the back!!" The night, I slept so well. Next morning, I noticed my face skin looked so smooth. I looked younger and very healthy. I was convinced again that singing is a very good thing for our mind, body, and spirit. |
