Messages from Big Island, Hawaii, in Japanese and English
Last year, I seem to have made a couple of laps around the Earth. I travelled for business trip, mainly from Hawaii to the mainland of the US.
I enjoy my work. New phase has been opened in front of us. In addition to my work in Washington DC., there are countless stories and episodes on the way back and forth. When I travelled alone, I met various episodes and all kinds of fun people. I feel like I can write a book about those stories. The more my boss keeps expanding our agendas and projects more, the more my work becomes exciting. When new projects start, I need to be ready. When it is required, the experiences and knowledge, which were sleeping inside for a while, start to awake and vitalize again, that gives me a very exciting feeling. Before coming to Hawaii and marrying with my Darling, I was working in Tokyo and Osaka area more than 10 years. I accumulated my career as a professional interpreter and translator. I enjoyed having new knowledge in all kinds of fields such as IT, engineering, US Navy, local government, banking, credit section, textile, telephone communication, and social compliance of companies. I tried to not be picky (often I had no choice to live and work), and kept accepting various exciting opportunities in all kinds. I did not know all those experiences would be essential and very useful later. My starting point was around the time when I was 20 years old. A bright and clear vision was lit in my mind. “I want to contribute to realize a Real World Peace on this planet. I want to contribute Big”. Since then, I have been following my inner voice spring out from the bottom of my heart as honest and pure as possible. While I was working in big cities in Japan, “am I Ok by doing such a thing every day? Am I on the right track to my dream?”, I sometimes wondered. However, now I am clearly aware and convinced that “all” my past experiences and everything led me to this stage where I am now. Nothing was meaningless. Now I see very clear step to my vision, and devote myself to the mission, I can feel strongly that every piece of my life to here had a meaning and blessing. With full of gratitude, I have kicked off this New Year, which is anticipated to be more exciting. Comments are closed.
